End of Summer Event

Hey everyone, if you're like me, you're recovering from a great weekend in San Diego at CLF Family Camp. It was a great time hanging out with friends, getting to know some of the other people in the church, and enjoying the outdoors (plus some fun rounds of Family Feud).

We really missed some of the rest of you, and so I'm really excited about this Thursday and our last event of the summer. We will be going to Knott's Berry Farm this Thursday, August 13th, starting in the afternoon and going into the evening. This should be a great climax to the summer, a great use of all the money we raised at our yard sale a couple weeks ago, and the perfect chance to connect with some new friends from the Solidarity Community Center, who are coming with us.

Meet up at the church at 1:30 pm, and we'll be back by 9:30 pm. Bring anything you expect to need at an amusement park (sunscreen, bottled water, etc.), money for dinner, and $5 to possibly contribute to our ticket costs (depending on how many people end up coming). If any of your parents are interested in helping with transportation that could be helpful for us, as well.

I look forward to seeing everyone there - and thanks for a great summer!
